The customer package required conformal coating, but couldn't risk contaminating production carriers with the coating.
The Martek
Solution
To utilize Martek Automation's FC1000 Work Cell to pick and place parts from process carriers to dedicated coating carriers.
Process Requirement:
Martek’s 1130BD_NA Bi-directional Magazine Handler to load process carriers into and out of FC1000 Pick and Place Cell.
FC1000 Work Cell with internal carrier de-stacker and transfer conveyor to de-stack, lift, and locate carrier for loading. Edge belt conveyor to transfer loaded carrier to downstream Conformal Coating Machine.
Recipe driven programming with servo gripper to quick change multiple package sizes.
OEM conformal coating system.
Model 1130D Magazine Loader to load coated package on carrier into a Magazine.
The Result:
Fully automated transfer part transfer and conformal coating process.
